Strtly is operated by Hyperextension. This policy explains what we collect and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account info: when you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image.
• Your settings: topics, sources, teams, location, and display preferences you save.
• Session data: a sign-in cookie, plus the IP address and browser user agent associated with your session.
• Approximate location: if you haven't set a location, your city is estimated from your IP address to show local weather. It isn't stored.

How it's used

Only to run the site: signing you in, showing your customized homepage, and keeping it secure. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use it for tracking.

Services we rely on

Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and GitHub/Google (sign-in) process data on our behalf. News, scores, and weather are fetched from third-party sources such as RSS feeds, theScore, ESPN, and Open-Meteo; your personal information isn't sent to them. Clicking an article takes you to that publisher's site, which has its own policies. When you ask for source suggestions, the topic name is sent to Feedly's public search.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and all associated data, email Contact Us.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
